Winter Wellness: Less Judgement. More Namaste.
Healing the mind also means caring for the body.
Our Winter Wellness series is a weekly opportunity to slow down, reset, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive, therapeutic environment.
Open to the community, this series includes separate yoga and sound bowl healing sessions. It’s designed to support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and promote physical ease. Whether you’re beginning your healing journey or deepening your wellness practice, this class can be a meaningful addition to your self-care.
Why Yoga?
Yoga is more than just movement. It’s a research-backed way to support both mental and physical health.
Benefits include:
- Reduced anxiety and depression
- Improved sleep and emotional regulation
- Increased flexibility and physical strength
- Greater body awareness and nervous system balance
- A sense of grounding and connection
Our gentle yoga sessions are trauma-informed, meaning you are always in control of your experience. Movements are offered as invitations, and safety, respect, and accessibility are core to the practice.

Why Sound Bowls?

Sound bowls can deepen meditation by helping the mind and body relax more quickly. The gentle, rhythmic tones can help meditators:
- Create vibrations that promote a sense of calm, reduce stress, and quiet mental chatter
- Balance energy, enhance focus, and support emotional release
- Encourage a more mindful, restorative experience
Combining sound bowls with meditation can leave participants feeling centered, refreshed, and grounded after each session.
Who Should Attend?
- Individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, or chronic stress
- Anyone seeking a gentle, body-centered mindfulness practice
- Current MICS clients looking to expand their care
- Community members interested in mind-body wellness
No prior yoga or meditation experience is needed—just a willingness to show up and breathe.
