Monmouth Integrative Counseling Services Helps

Heal Your Relationship with Food and Your Body

If you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in your relationship with food and body image, you are not alone. Many people struggle with disordered eating patterns, emotional eating, or harmful dieting behaviors—often without realizing how much these patterns affect their physical and emotional well-being.

We offer compassionate, evidence-based nutrition counseling and eating disorder therapy designed to help you make peace with food and develop a healthier relationship with your body. If you’re facing disordered eating habits, an eating disorder diagnosis, or feel trapped by diet culture, we provide support without shame or judgment.

Appointments are available in-person at our Wall Township, Brick, and Manasquan offices or virtually throughout New Jersey.

Our Approach to Nutrition and Eating Disorder Treatment

Our nutrition therapy services are rooted in trauma-informed, weight-inclusive care and the principles of Health at Every Size® (HAES®). We don’t promote restrictive diets, calorie counting, or weight-focused goals. Instead, we work with you to understand your body’s needs, develop intuitive eating skills, and address the emotional and behavioral patterns that drive disordered eating.

Our registered dietitian, Ellie Kelsey, MS, RDN, brings a compassionate and personalized approach to every session. As an experienced eating disorder nutrition therapist, she works closely with clients struggling with:

Binge eating
Chronic dieting
Anorexia nervosa and restrictive eating
Bulimia nervosa
Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
Emotional eating
Orthorexia and compulsive “clean eating”
Body image concerns
Co-occurring mental health concerns such as trauma, anxiety, or depression

You do not need a formal eating disorder diagnosis to seek help

If your thoughts about food and body feel overwhelming or interfere with your life, we’re here to help.

A Safe, Shame-Free Space

At Monmouth Integrative Counseling Services, we do not promote weight loss or use weight as a measure of health. Instead, we look at your whole health—including your emotional, social, and physical well-being—and help you work toward a life where food and body image no longer control your happiness.
