Monmouth Integrative Counseling Services (MICS) is proud to serve as the Community Health Champion Sponsor of the 2026 EMACC Health & Wellness Expo, returning to Brookdale Community College on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 12:00–4:00 pm. This free, community-wide event brings together local wellness providers, educators, and organizations dedicated to supporting the health of individuals, families, and workplaces throughout Monmouth County and beyond.
Hosted by the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce (EMACC), the Health & Wellness Expo reflects a shared commitment to education, collaboration, and accessible resources that strengthen both businesses and communities. As a long-standing supporter of integrative mental health care, MICS is honored to play a leading role in this event for the second consecutive year.
A Community Event Centered on Whole-Person Wellness
The EMACC Health & Wellness Expo is built around the Five Pillars of Health & Wellness:
- Nutrition
- Exercise
- Sleep
- Stress Management
- Social Connection
These pillars align closely with MICS’s integrative approach to mental health, which recognizes that emotional well-being is deeply connected to physical health, relationships, and daily lifestyle factors. The Expo creates a space where attendees can explore how these elements work together to support long-term wellness.
Throughout the afternoon, community members will have the opportunity to connect with 40+ local vendors, participate in interactive demonstrations, and attend an expert panel presentation titled “Why Stress Is at the Center of Wellness.” This panel highlights an issue that affects individuals, families, and workplaces alike—and one that MICS addresses daily through therapy, education, and community programming.
MICS’s Role as Community Health Champion
As the Community Health Champion Sponsor, MICS is committed to advancing conversations around mental health, trauma-informed care, and accessible support. Our team believes that education and early connection to resources can make a meaningful difference in how individuals manage stress, navigate life transitions, and care for their mental health.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the MICS table during the Expo to learn more about our services, meet members of our clinical team, and explore how integrative therapy can support emotional well-being across all stages of life. If you are new to therapy or looking to deepen your understanding of mental health care options in New Jersey, our team is happy to connect.
Supporting Health Across Monmouth County
The EMACC Health & Wellness Committee’s mission to serve as a hub for education, resources, and collaboration mirrors MICS’s dedication to community-based mental health care. Together, we aim to reduce stigma, promote healthy lifestyles, and connect individuals with trusted providers who support resilience and sustainable well-being.
Monmouth Integrative Counseling Services is grateful to EMACC and all participating organizations for creating a space where mental health is recognized as a vital part of overall wellness. We look forward to seeing you at the Expo and continuing to support the well-being of our community—together.
