Jamie Vendemia – LAC
Hey! I’m Jamie Vendemia, a Licensed Associate Counselor. I received a Master’s degree from Rutgers University in Rehabilitation Counseling with a Clinical Mental Health Counseling focus in Spring 2024
I believe therapy should be a non-judgemental and welcoming space where you can feel heard and supported. My goal is to help you feel empowered to become the best version of you. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I also like to incorporate Play and Art therapy. I have experience working with children and teens in different environments, such as in school settings and vocational training. I have experience working with a range of topics, such as Anxiety, Self-esteem, Life Transitions, and Depression.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, going on walks with my dog, and going to concerts/musicals.
