On Friday, May 1, 2026 Monmouth Integrative Counseling Services (MICS) joined the Jersey Shore BlueClaws for Mental Health Awareness Night.
Each year at the start of May the BlueClaws help advance mental health education and awareness to their fans. Monmouth Integrative Counseling Services was grateful to collaborate with the team and to help fight the stigma around mental health in our community.
MICS hosted a table at the game and had a great time sharing more about our services with the community. We passed out stress (base)balls, and watched the BlueClaws bring in a win, all in the spirit of mental health awareness!
Miss New Jersey 2025, Belle Nicholas, threw out the first pitch, and added “Survivors like me appreciate your commitment to cultivating healthy communities and reminding us that it’s okay to ask for help” via Instagram.
The Jersey Shore BlueClaws won the game against the Hudson Valley Renegades 5-4 in 10 innings at ShoreTown Ballpark.
